About Janelle
I'm Janelle — glad you're here.
I'm a CranioSacral Therapist and educator in North Salt Lake. My work is grounded in safety, curiosity, and the belief that healing is client-led.
Clients often tell me what they remember most is how quietly supported they felt — fully clothed, at their own pace, with room to ask questions or pause at any time.

I found CranioSacral Therapy after a minor car accident that left me struggling to bounce back. A few sessions in, I was sleeping better and my pain was easing. As life continued — with its grief, transitions, and hard seasons — CST helped me find physical and emotional ease in ways I had not found elsewhere.
My own path has included grief after losing my father, religious transition, recovery from emotional and financial abuse, complex trauma, and the slow work of discovering my authentic self. CranioSacral Therapy did not fix me. It helped create conditions where change could emerge — and that shaped everything about how I practice today.
Healing becomes possible when we move from reactivity to curiosity — at your pace, with room for both struggle and renewal.
How I view this work
I do not see people as broken. I see people who need safety, support, curiosity, and appropriate guidance. You set the pace. You remain in charge of your process.
In session, we work together with gentle touch to support nervous system settling, body awareness, and fascial ease — always client-led, with consent and clear communication when helpful. When your process invites it, SomatoEmotional Release can make gentle room for the body and mind to connect.
A little more about me
Outside of sessions, I am playful, grateful, and optimistic. I love warmth, nature, singing, dancing, and the small moments that help people feel at home in themselves. When I'm not in session, I love gardening, preserving, baking sourdough, and time with my golden retriever.
You never have to choose between science and humanity
Credentials matter — and so does how you feel in the room. This practice is built on both.
Trauma-informed care
You set the pace. Consent, safety, and feeling seen come first — always.
Science & lived experience
Deep anatomical understanding paired with genuine warmth. You never have to choose between the two.
Client-led care
People are not broken. I create conditions where your own pace and curiosity can lead.
Infant & perinatal expertise
Significant experience with newborns, pregnancy, and the whole family through transition.
Diplomate certified
Upledger Institute Diplomate CST and approved international presenter.
Whole-person support
Physical and emotional challenges are both welcome here — with curiosity, not force.
Training & credentials
Credentials support the relationship. They do not replace it. I began Upledger CranioSacral Therapy training in 2019, completed Techniques Certification in 2020, and earned Diplomate Certification in 2024 after rigorous testing through the Upledger Institute.
